A Dream

In Red Square, in front of the Palace of the last Tsar, Rolf Schnyder, CEO of Ulysse Nardin, in the presence of 400 guests, presented the “St. Basil Red Square” edition, limited to 30 pieces.

This is Ulysse Nardin´s contribution to the Kremlin’s 200th anniversary.

The exhibition also featured historic and contemporary watches, all representative of the art of watch making. The Kremlin Museum, directed by the daughter of the first Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, conducted the inauguration of the “History in Time” together with Rolf W. Schnyder, CEO of the Firm and Youri Yakovlev, CEO of MTT, Ulysse Nardin’s representative in Russia.

To commemorate this historic event, the firm launched this limited edition watch, which is egg shaped and is decorated with diamonds and depicts one of the Kremlin’s most representative monuments: “St. Basil Red Square”. Without a doubt, this masterpiece was the most well-received, which synthesizes the most perfect amalgam of Swiss and Russian culture.

The watch is crafted in 18-carat pink gold and platinum. The dial depicts a fine miniature reproduction of St. Basil.

The watch has a 40 mm diameter case with numerals engraved in pink gold. It is water resistant to 50 meters. The glass is sapphire and the piece contains a total of 21 jewels.
