MARKET by Jean-Georges is the most recent addition to the gastronomic offer in One&Only Palmilla. From multi award winner frech chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten who’s gastronomy, comfort and casual elegance can turn any evening into a magical one for its continuous search of new fusions, flavors and culinary expressions.
Chef Jean-Georges created a unique and exclusive menu for this new restaurant, MARKET, than even when it is a homonym of others in the world; it has nothing to do with them. For the MARKET’s menu in Los Cabos, local ingredients are used as well as from the traditional Mexican Cuisine in order to give a Mexican accent to the dishes that have his own personal style with Asian influences, due to his stay on this region on his early years.
The Agua restaurant in One&Only Palmilla Resort, is an open air palapa style restaurant, a creation of executive chef, Larbi Dahrouch, a very tasty food hybrid is served, mixing Mediterranean and Mexican Food which is called “Mexiterranean” this is a more casual option compared to the Resort’s icon restaurant MARKET by Jean-Georges.
The menu for Agua is the result of a classic Mediterranean cuisine with a very deep Mexican cuisine influence and ingredients. The peculiar seasoning of the Mediterranean Cuisine is mixed with Mexican native cooking creating a hybrid with flavor that have never been tasted before by the guests, being a more casual option.
More recently, the Suviche Restaurant and Lounge was added to the dining repertoire at
One&Only Palmilla. As it’s name suggests, it specializes in sushi and ceviche dishes, prepared by expert chefs among the figures Master Chef Nobuo Iwaseya, a native japanese who was selected by Jean Georges to prepare exquisite sushi dishes.
The restaurant also offers an extensive sake selection, along with a sake sommelier whose expert suggestions help pair each dish with a particular sake.
One&Only Palmilla offers extensive gastronomical opportunities, besides those which we covered previously on this article, there are other options to explore; a more casual dining approach with breeze cuisine and the Chef Jean George supervised room service.
