The Riviera bids us to enjoy its excellent cuisine and this is why we have chosen three of the best restaurants of the region.
The Moulin de Mougins, where Chef Alain Llorca imposes his style, flavors and trends, is famous for his “la ronde des tapas”, a masterpiece for the palate that includes about 14 different dishes that range from a delicious cream of anchovies with sweet potato (together with the luscious skeleton of the anchovy bathed in honey) to the fresh foie gras with aged vinegar (accompanied by spun sugar) and, crowning it all, bubbling strawberries with basil.
The Palais de la Méditerranée, once a casino built in 1929, has been turned into a marvelous hotel that preserves its Art Deco style and its Le Padouk restaurant is a must on the Riviera. Chef Bruno Sohn delights diners with his Mediterranean cuisine in which he blends the flavors of regional products. The Pingala Bar is the newest up-to-the-minute place in which to enjoy the sea breeze.
In the La Passagère, in the Belles Rives Hotel, Chef David Marie tempts us to discover his original way of preparing morillas (a type of mushroom) or fish, true works of art in which he uses the herbs of Provence. This old house, built in the 20s and once inhabited by F. Scott Fitzgerald, was bought by Boma Estène and transformed into a hotel that conserves its original Art Deco furnishings. La Passagère is a journey back in time accompanied by elegant flavors.
