Napa Valley

T 2008 Relentless Napa Valley was nominated the 2012 Wine of the Year (WS). The Shafers give credit to Elias Fernandez, son of a migrant worker, who over 28 crops of passion for winemaking perfection, has taken high quality wine to a new level. This wine was named “Relentless” in Elias’ honor.

Each Relentless bottle contains the spirit of an innovative red wine native of vineyards and wineries that have become famous for their Cabernet Sauvignon production. Since the first vintage in 1978, which was presented to the market in 1981, founder John Shafer, joined forces with his son Doug and took their name to the Napa Valley elite in California.

Father and son have developed, over 35 years of work, dedication and effort a  strong enterprise and a vineyard respected among sommeliers addicted to Napa Valley, a region that, for a few decades, has been competing with the best in the world. Their Red Shoulder Ranch (*) 2012 Chardonnay  is considered among the best in California in its class, and their 2010 Merlot  is  one of the most popular luxury priced Merlots in the state. Their One Point Five is a name that has meaning in the history of the family business, and reviews consider it as the Cabernet that defines Stags Leap district, and the Hillside Select which are renowned by high quality stability.

To test the excelence of each of these varieties, visit the Shafer wineries and enjoy an unforgettable tasting.
