A Traditional and Sober Eatery That Takes Pride in Its Roots
Inside an 18th century building, only ten minutes from Promenade de la Croisette in Cannes, we find this icon of French cuisine, considered the finest in the region. La Villa boasts two Michelin stars and a profoundly conservative architecture: wood floors, original paintings, sober and elegant furniture. Bruno Oger is the chef in charge of creating dishes typical of the south of France, such as abalones from Groix Island, simply pan fried with artichokes; Pigeon Breast with muscat beaumes de venise rouge sauce, made with regional red wines; gillardeau N°2 oyster, cucumber, mint and petrossian caviar; and the Grand Cru chocolate, a desert made with Qualified Designation of Origin cocoa beans.
