An Elegant Way to Play Golf

Campestre Ízar is the perfect place for those who want to combine golf, relaxation and “recharging batteries” after a stressful week at work.

Located on the shore of the Valle de Bravo lake, the design of this course was entrusted to award-winning Golf Plan, a company which has built over 150 courses in 50 countries. Among their most noted achievements are the design of some of France’s, Indonesia’s and Finland’s best courses.

The course’s nine holes were built on a piece of land that has an area of almost 55 hectares (136 acres) with an enormous lakefront, which is why many of the holes are located along the shore. A round is 18-holes, par 72.

The course takes full advantage of the characteristics of the terrain: a broad stretch of land filled with trees, streams, views of the lake and a natural, tranquil atmosphere that is just right for the game.

It is located on high ground so it is completely surrounded by the forest, with no houses or any distractions for the players.

To make the start of the round even more spectacular, members have a dock to access the course in their own boats and a Clubhouse with a restaurant (19th hole), golf carts, bathrooms and a snack bar.

The longest hole is the 18th, a 572 yard, par 5, while number 5 is the shortest, a 111 yard, par 3.
