180 o “antimeridiano”. Un cartel indica el punto pre-
ciso donde nacen y terminan los días. En este juego
del tiempo, traspasar al otro lado de la línea invisi-
ble, que divide el este del oeste de Taveuni, implica
cambiar de fecha, exactamente un día, de forma que
puedes vivir dos días a la vez, literalmente.
Así, pasado y presente se entremezclan por to-
dos sus territorios, sus costumbres, tradiciones,
retos, misterios y deslumbramientos—lugares
