A Century of Innovations and Technology
T
his great exhibition celebrates its 100th
anniversary this year, when the most presti-
gious automotive makes launches an end-
less array of state-of-the art models and daring
concept cars.
The different brands gamble vie with each
other for market share and so the Detroit Motor
Show saw the launch of more than 45 new world-
wide models and more than 42 daring concept
cars, of which some will go into production in
2008.
Among the new models launched, we must
mention the new Cadillac CTS 2008, the new BMW
Series 3 Cabrio, the spectacular Dodge Viper SRT10
and the new generation Porsche Cayenne.
Also launched were Jaguar C-FX prototype,
which gives us an idea of how the future S-type
will look when it goes on sale in the third quarter
of 2008, the Volvo XC60 Concept which next year
will compete with the BMW X3, as well as the con-
vertible version of the Chevrolet Camaro, which
will hit the showrooms in mid-2008
On this occasion, we bring three world firsts.
The totally new Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead
Coupé, the majestic Maserati Quattroporte
Automatic and the Suzuki XL-7, a luxurious
crossover with a marked sporting style.

sta magna exhibición celebra 100 años de vida
en 2007, en donde las más prestigiadas marcas
automotrices presentaron un sinfín de van-
guardistas modelos y atrevidos concept cars.
Las distintas marcas automotrices apuestan
fuerte para recuperar mercado y, para ello, en el
Salón de Detroit se presentaron más de 45 noveda-
des mundiales y más de 42 atrevidos concept cars,
de los cuales algunos llegarán a las líneas de produc-
ción en 2008.
Entre las novedades que se presentaron destaca el
lanzamiento del nuevo Cadillac CTS 2008, el nuevo
BMW Serie 3 Cabrio, el espectacular Dodge Viper
SRT10 y la nueva generación del Porsche Cayenne,
entre otros.
Asimismo, fueron develados también el prototipo
C-FX de Jaguar que nos deja ver como lucirá el futuro
S-Type que estará a la venta en el tercer trimestre del
2008, el Volvo su XC60 Concept que competirá el
próximo año con el X3 de BMW, así como la versión
descapotable del Chevrolet Camaro, el cual arribará a
las agencias de la marca a mediados del 2008
En esta ocasión les presentamos tres primicias
mundiales. Se trata del totalmente nuevo Rolls-Royce
Phantom Drophead Coupé, el majestuoso Maserati
Quattroporte Automático, así como el Suzuki XL-7, un
lujoso crossover de marcado estilo deportivo.
