The first days’ diving were frustrating because

had to wait until the bad weather had passed to go
into the water. They did not have much luck because
they did not find anything in the cave. They started
to doubt what
”El Válvulas”
had told them, because
the days passed without any luck. But suddenly, as
luck would have it, one day in poor conditions, they
saw an enormous bull shark totally asleep.
Ramón did not stop taking pictures, both video
and still, because he could not believe what he was
seeing. Their luck continued over the next few days,
the sharks were queuing up to go inside the cave to
sleep. Ramón told the world about the phenomenon
and received replies from international scientists
such as Dr. Shelton Appelgate, a master in shark
paleontology and Dr. Eugina Clark, the highest
authority in sharks, who both traveled immediately
to the beautiful Isla Mujeres to confirmwhat Ramón
Bravo had told them. With them, Captian Cousteau
arrived in the legendary ship, the
Calypso
.
Due to uncontrolled fishing, thesemagnificent
beings were deterred from entering hte spectacu-
lar cave and for a long time we were unable to enjoy
their presence. A few days ago, while testing closed
circuit diving equipment, using equipment that
does notmake bubbles and the silence is sublime, by

y no tenían suerte. Pero de buenas a primeras, un día
en que las condiciones eran pobres, vieron un enorme
tiburón toro totalmente dormido.
Ramón no dejó de disparar sus cámaras, tanto de
cine como de fotos, pues no podía creer lo que estaba
presenciando. Durante los días siguientes tuvieron la
misma suerte, los tiburones hacían cola parameterse a la
cueva a dormir. Ramón dio a conocer este hecho a todo el
mundo y tuvo respuesta de científicos internacionales
como el Dr. Shelton Appelgate, maestro en paleontología
de los escualos, y la Dra. Eugina Clark, máxima autoridad
en tiburones, de ese momento, quienes hicieron un viaje
a la bella Isla Mujeres para constatar lo que Ramón Bravo
les comentaba. Junto con ellos llegó el comandante
Cousteau en el legendario barco
Calypso
.
Debido a la pesca sin control estos magníficos seres
se fueron alejando de la espectacular cueva y durante
mucho tiempo no pudimos gozar de su presencia. Hace
días, mientras probaba equipos de circuito cerrado de
buceo, con los que no se hace burbujas y el silencio es
sublime, por pura suerte llegué a un pequeño arrecife
muy cerca de Cancún, donde la corriente es muy fuerte
pero existen seresmaravillosos. Pude observar tiburones
