The upper deck is an area of pure recreation
counting, in the bow, with two tables for four peo-
ple to port, amid a starboard control station and
a bar. To the sides of the structure there are two
chairs for four people in a crescent-shaped style.
On the inside, a sitting area with a table and a chair
to port, in the starboard direction we foun a table
with individual chairs. Then the emergency gener-
ator, stairs and elevator, and a little further back is
the gym. Leaving this part we find the Jacuzzi area
and sun loungers.
The achievements of the Laurel are notewor-
thy because, even for the U.S. shipyard with a long
history, this is the largest yacht delivered to date.
Not coincidentally, has been celebrated around the
midium and amongst yacht owners with their first
trips, that served as proof, by traveling to beach
destinations, and another challenge to test its ca-
pabilities was the navigation in extreme climates,
in this case with the ice floes as sentinels of prog-
ress in the icy waters.
La cubierta superior que es un área de puro espar-
cimiento, cuenta en la proa con dos mesas para cuatro
personas a babor, en medio una estación de control y
a estribor un bar. A los costados de la estructura hay
dos sillones para cuatro personas en forma de semilu-
na. En la parte interior, un área de descanso con una
mesa y un sillón a babor, a estribor una mesa con si-
llones individuales. Posteriormente encontramos el
generador de emergencia, las escaleras y el elevador;
luego, un poco más atrás está el gimnasio. Saliendo
de esta parte encontramos el jacuzzi y un área con ca-
mastros para tomar el sol.
El logro es digno de mención ya que incluso para
el astillero estadounidense con una larga trayectoria,
este es el yate más grande entregado a la fecha. No
es casualidad que se haya celebrado en todo el medio
náutico y por los dueños con sus primeros viajes, que
sirvieron de prueba, a destinos de playa y otro reto
para probar sus capacidades para navegación en cli-
mas extremos, en este caso con los témpanos helados
como vigías del avance en las aguas congeladas.
