ochi Craft toma el viejo estilo de los langoste-
ros de Nueva Inglaterra para convertirlo en una
lujosa forma de disfrutar el mar. Siguiendo la
personalidad de su primer modelo, el 51’ Dolphin, Mochi
Craft lanza ahora su nuevo yate de 72 pies. Es ideal para
cruceros largos y medianos.
Sus parabrisas, que permiten una amplia vista, y
sus puentes de mando, superior e inferior, distinguen a
este yate de 22 metros. Destacan sus perfiles redon-
deados, típicos de los años cincuenta, que producen una
armonía serena. El interior del 72’ Dolphin está decora-
do con paneles de madera preciosa en un área muy es-
paciosa y sin divisiones estructurales. Gracias a su
puerta deslizable y a su ventana giratoria siempre hay
suficiente espacio e iluminación.
El puente de mando inferior es parte del salón prin-
cipal, que además incluye un comedor para ocho a babor
y una elegante sala con sofá, sillones y mesa de centro
a estribor. En la cubierta inferior hay un garaje para
guardar la lancha utilitaria y un jet ski.
El
flybridge
(cubierta superior) es realmente una sa-
la de estar con un centro de mando, desde donde se
controla fácilmente al 72’ Dolphin, con los huéspedes
sentados cómodamente en un sofá semicircular. El cen-
tro de mando superior es muy espacioso como en todos
los langosteros tradicionales y es un área multifuncio-
nal que incluye dos sofá/banco y una gran mesa fija, que
lo convierte en una sala al aire libre protegida por un pa-
rasol controlado electrónicamente para mantener a to-
dos frescos y libres de los rayos solares directos. Aquí se
puede disfrutar de una comida informal o simplemente
tomarse la copa en un ambiente muy especial.
El delicado uso de maderas preciosas, su proa impo-
nente, que se desliza hacia adelante sin ángulos promi-
nentes, y su perfil terso crean una combinación única
que imita el vaivén de las olas conforme el casco corta el
agua hacia su destino.
Bajo cubierta también se encuentran zonas espe-
ciales. Al bajar las escaleras, inmediatamente a la dere-
cha, el dueño se encuentra en su camarote, una suite
con vestidor, un pequeño sofá y dos baños indepen-
dientes que comparten la regadera o el jacuzzi opcional.
Para los huéspedes del yate de 72 pies hay una cabina
VIP
en la proa, con cama doble y baño privado. A ambos
lados se encuentran camarotes con camas individuales
y sus propios baños. A un lado de la suite maestra hay
una cuarta cabina que tiene una cama y un catre, tam-
bién con baño propio.
Finalmente, el propietario puede adquirir el innova-
dor sistema estabilizador ARG Anti-Roll de Mitsubishi.
Gracias a este aparato, es posible navegar en condicio-
nes de seguridad constante y en pleno confort, o estar
amarrado al muelle o a la rada asegurando una estabili-
dad completa.
El 72’ Dolphin es una obra maestra, no solamente
en términos de confort, sino también por su poderoso
corazón que late por dentro: para mover este maravillo-
so yate Mochi Craft ofrece dos máquinas MTU de 200
HP. Puede alcanzar velocidades máximas de 34 nudos o
navegar tranquilamente a 31 nudos. Inmediatamente
después de abordar el 72’ Dolphin uno se da cuenta de
que está en un yate para navegar en alta mar, y que
ofrece a sus huéspedes suficiente libertad y espacios
para gozar.

ochi Craft reinterprets the New England old
lobster boat style to turn it into a luxury way
of experiencing the sea. Its rounded shapes
rediscover the natural lines of the Fifties with their
strikingly serene harmony.
After its first model, the 51’Dolphin, today Mochi
Craft has launched a 72-foot yacht, which is ideal for
mediumand long cruises. The front windows allowing
for a full sea-view, plus the flybridge above and a
lower bridge characterize this 22-meter yacht.
The interior of the72’ Dolphin is tastefully deco-
rated with precious wood paneling in a huge airy
open space without structural divisions. Thanks to a
sliding door and an up-and-over window there is
plenty of light and usable space. The cockpit is sepa-
rated from this large room where on the portside you
will find a dining table for eight guests and on the
starboard side an elegant lounge with sofa, armchairs
and coffee table. The flybridge is actually a lounge
with cockpit from which you can navigate the 72’
Dolphin surrounded by your guests comfortably sit-
ting on the semi-circular sofa. The upper cockpit is
very spacious, as in all traditional lobster boats. It is a
multi-function area, carefully equipped with a large
fixed table and two comfortable bench sofas which
turn it into an open-air living room, protected by an
electric sunshade to keep it cool and free from direct
sun light. Here we can enjoy an informal meal or sim-
ply sip an aperitif in a very special atmosphere. Below
the cockpit is the garage, which houses a large tender
and a jet ski.
The radical choice of wood, its imposing prow that
slowly slopes towards the front, the absence of sharp
angles, and its smooth shape create a unique combi-
nation copy the natural flow of the waves as it cuts
through the water.
Unusual spaces are found also below deck. At
the bottom of the stairs, immediately on the right,
the ship owner will find his master cabin, a suite
provided with a large walk-in closet, a small sofa and
two independent bathrooms that share the shower
or the optional jacuzzi. For guests on the 72 footer
there is an elegant VIP fore cabin with a double bed
and private bathroom. And a to either side a double
cabin with twin beds, each with its own shower. A
fourth cabin with a low ‘French’ bed and a second
folding bed, with private bathroom, is located very
close to the master cabin.
Finally, it is possible to have the innovative
Mitsubishi ARG Anti Rolling System stabilisers
installed. Thanks to this device it is possible to navi-
gate in conditions of constant safety and comfort and
to lie at anchor in a roadstead or in a harbour with full
stability on board always ensured.
You will discover that the 72’Dolphin not only is a
masterpiece in terms of comfort but also has a pow-
erful heart beating inside. To power this marvelous
yacht, Mochi Craft offers two MTU 1,500 HP engines.
The 72’Dolphin can reach the maximum speed of 34
knots and a comfortable cruise speed of 31 knots.
