suites, nevertheless what calls the attention themost
in the Hotel Mamounia is its gardens, which already
existed long before there was a hotel in mind. These
romantic and luxurious gardens offer to their visitors
a great variety of flowers, plants, trees, birds and, first
and foremost, an enormous spiritual peace. Plenty of
people take a walk to meditate though these gardens.
Covered with roses, dalias and exotic plants, the gar-
dens of Hotel Mamounia offer a romantic evening to
the couples that want to listen to the song of the birds
or simply be there for at one of the most spectacular
sunsets of the world.
The gourmet Boujemaa Mars took the position of
Executive Chef of the hotel in 1987. Like one of the
most important culinary professionals of Morocco,
Boujemaa offers a completely different menu for
each one of the nine restaurants of the hotel. Each
restaurant has a different concept and decoration,
but what does not change it is the exquisite quality
of the dishes. There is a a restaurant for each palate:
Italian, International kitchen, French and, of course,
the main restaurant of the hotel offers a typicall
Moroccan menu.

Por supuesto, no podía faltar la suite Nupcial, las
suites 1930 o las suites del siglo XIX, sin embargo lo que
más llama la atención en el hotel La Mamounia son sus
jardines, que ya existían mucho antes que se pensara en
construir un hotel. Estos jardines tan románticos y
lujosos ofrecen a sus visitantes gran variedad de flores,
plantas, árboles, pájaros y, fundamentalmente, una
enorme paz espiritual. Mucha gente se pasea por aquí
para meditar. Tapizados de rosas, dalias y plantas exóti-
cas, los jardines de La Mamounia ofrecen una velada
romántica a las parejas que quieren escuchar el canto de
los pájaros o simplemente presenciar una de las puestas
del sol más espectaculares del mundo.
El gastrónomo Boujemaa Mars tomó el cargo de chef
ejecutivo del hotel en 1987. Como uno de los profesion-
ales culinarios más importantes de Marruecos, Boujemaa
nos ofrece un menú completamente diferente en cada
uno de los nueve restaurantes del hotel. Cada restaurante
tiene un concepto y una decoración diferentes, pero lo que
no cambia es la exquisita calidad de los platillos. Existe un
restaurante para cada paladar, hay cocina italiana, interna-
cional y francesa y, por supuesto, el restaurante estrella
del hotel ofrece una cocina típicamente marroquí.
