After the main boat shows around the world - Cannes Yachting Festival, Genoa International Boat Show, and Monaco Yacht Show -, we present you some of the yachts exhibited that will become references for their exterior and interior design, power, and harmony with the environment.
CRN – Rio
The Italian shipyard CRN was held at Port Hercule, the venue of the Monaco Yacht Show 2022, the world premiere of the 203 ft. superyacht Rio. With four decks, one of which is the owner's suite, the yacht features a whirlpool and sundeck; the vessel offers space for 12 guests in five cabins, two of which are VIP. It includes an aft lounge with outdoor dining areas.
There is also a beach club and cinema area at the stern of the wheelhouse deck. It reaches a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. In the lower part there is an area for an 26.2 ft. tender, a13.7 ft. rescue tender, and a pair of jet skis.
TecnoRib – Pirelli 50
The Cannes Yachting Festival was the setting for the presentation of the Pirelli 50, TecnoRib's flagship. This 49.2 ft. walkaround promises versatile use (day or mid-range cruising, or chase boat for a superyacht). It has a two-step planing hull, which combines the highest degree of stability and safety with exceptional performance.
It features an aft sundeck and a teak table dinette; in the bow area there is a settee and sundeck. The lower deck offers two double cabins. It is powered by 600 hp and 440 hp outboard engines, developing a top speed of 50 knots.
Hylas Yachts – Hylas H57
Renowned for its design, the Hylas H57 features a 56.3 ft. hull, a beam of 17 ft., and large 1,636.1 sq. ft. sails. The solid lead fin keel, designed to reduce side slip, offers speed and comfort at sea.
Electric winches and hydraulic furling systems add control for setting and reefing sails. The yacht's three staterooms include the aft owner's cabin and more than a dozen portholes for a bright below-deck environment. It is made of FRP and isophthalic gel coat composites, with closed-cell foam core, and infused with vinyl ester resin.
Riva – El-Iseo
On the occasion of the 180th anniversary of Riva's foundation, the Mediterranean shipyard presented El-Iseo at the Yacht Club de Monaco the prototype of its first runabout with electric propulsion that provides a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of 40 knots, with acceleration superior to that of a similar boat with an internal combustion engine.
It promises ten hours of cruising in economy mode. It has a lithium battery pack developed for this project, with a capacity of 150 kWh. It contains the finishes, colors, and details that have made the brand famous; the helm station is equipped with a digital and touch screen, similar to the analog ones.
Apreamare – Gozzo 45
At the Croisette harbor, the venue of the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, Apreamare premiered the Gozzo 45, a cruiser with a marked Mediterranean timelessness, starting from the total absence of steps on the deck. The hull of the vessel reinterprets the traditional lines of the old Gozzo.
The open areas are privileged for a generous stern platform with a lounge and table for 8 people; below the main deck there are two cabins, a dining area, and two bathrooms. The hull has a variable geometry with a deep "V" created to make synergy with the two proposed propulsion equipment.
Wider – Widercat 92
Silent navigation promises the Widercat 92 catamaran, for journeys with no footprint on the environment thanks to its propulsion system. It is the first 91.8 ft. long and 39.3 ft. wide multihull in the history of the French shipyard.
On the lower deck, she has two splendid VIP cabins with platforms opening directly onto the beach club, space for water toys at the bulwarks, and an 193.7 sq. ft. garage for a dinghy and a jet ski. During the day, 1,829.8 sq. ft. of solar panels on the roof provide energy self-sufficiency at the anchor. Initial deliveries are scheduled scheduled for early 2023.
Ferretti Group – Itama 62RS
The sporty high-powered styling of the Itama 62RS was unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022. With a blue hull and a fully teak-clad deck, this new edition of the Open comes in a 62.3 ft. model.

She is equipped with two MAN V12 units of 1,400 hp each, producing a cruising speed of 37 knots and a top speed of 40 knots. It includes the Seakeeper NG9, which offers more stability at anchor and when cruising.
BYD Group – Linx 30
The Barcelona builder Bravo Yacht Design Group presented the Linx 30, its new carbon fiber double hull tender manufactured with a CNC milling machine and 3D printing, obtaining 40% more speed with the same power, reducing fuel consumption, and greater stability. It has a length of 31.1 ft. and a weight of 3.5 tons.
The catamaran's hull technology uses a large fixed foil between the two hulls and two trim tabs at the stern. Powered by a pair of 250 hp Yanmar power units, it can traveling at over 40 knots, with a smaller and lighter powertrain to achieve the same speed in a conventional dinghy.
The Italian Sea Group – Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63
The conceptualization of the Lamborghini 63 - the 63 stands for the number of models manufactured and recalls the year in which the Lamborghini company was born, 1963 - is based on the Lamborghini Sián FKP, the company's first hybrid car.
