Ipharra is the latest creation in the Sunreef 100 line: it is the first Sunreef 100 Eco electric catamaran, designed for sailing and featuring the company's latest sustainable technologies.

Ipharra’s owner has a long-standing connection to Le Rosey, one of the world’s most prestigious boarding schools. Like the owner's previous Sunreef catamaran, Ipharra will host students as part of an educational program specifically tailored for learning on board. Its spacious, open-plan saloon has been designed to facilitate this unique function.

Operating between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, the yacht will serve as a platform for studying geography, history, philosophy, marine biology, and ocean conservation. As the first Sunreef 100 Eco sailing yacht, Ipharra will also offer students hands-on experience with renewable energy, energy efficiency, and responsible energy management at sea, thanks to its electric propulsion system and integrated solar technology.

The yacht showcases the signature features of the Sunreef 100 Eco, including a spacious master suite on the main deck, expansive outdoor living areas, and a massive modular beach club. Equipped with Sunreef’s advanced electric propulsion system and state-of-the-art Solar Skin technology, Ipharra represents a new chapter in sustainable luxury sailing.

The owner's suite occupies a prime location at the bow of the main deck. Privacy glass panels separate the sleeping area from the bathroom and shower, while allowing light to flow freely throughout the space. The suite also features private access to an intimate terrace on the foredeck. Designed for both family cruises and educational voyages, Ipharra offers five cabins. A single cabin adjoining the owner's suite is ideal for younger family members, while the four en-suite guest cabins located in the hulls can be configured with either a double bed or twin beds, offering maximum flexibility for various types of sailing.

The technology behind Ipharra

Beyond the lifestyle it offers, the Sunreef 100 Eco is a magnificent blue-water cruising yacht. Its carbon mast supports a powerful sail plan capable of impressive performance, whether on short hops between nearby anchorages or during long passages. In optimal winds of 15 to 20 knots, it comfortably reaches speeds of 8 to 10 knots.

Over 2,690 sq ft of "Solar Skin" technology—developed in-house by Sunreef—is seamlessly integrated into the hull and superstructure, generating up to 49 kWp of clean energy to meet all the vessel's power needs.

When additional propulsion is required, two electric motors draw power from a 770 kWh battery bank, ensuring quiet, efficient operation that allows for extended cruising with minimal environmental impact.
