CRN shipyard, Zuccon International Project and Winch Design have partnered for the design and assembly of the new 74-meter CRN Superyacht Cloud 9. The ship was commissioned by an experienced yacht owner and was launched to great acclaim on January 21, 2017.
“This incredible 74 metre vessel will reinforce CRN’s expertise and varied range in working with a completely new concept to fulfill an owner’s vision. The result is a cutting-edge yacht that perfectly combines state-of-the-art technology, astonishing design and the best CRN features,” said Alberto Galassi, CRN’s Chairman and CEO of the Ferretti Group.
The superyacht is designed for comfort in both interiors and exteriors, and together they create the perfect aesthetic balance. With a beam of 13.5 meters and five expansive decks, the vessel accommodates up to 16 guests and 22 crew members. It is powered by two Caterpillar 3516C 2,000 kW @1600 rpm engines, delivering a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. In the words of Andrew Winch: the CRN Superyacht “is not beautifully designed, but also exceptionally well built for purpose.”
