The new flybridge Ferretti Yachts 670 was presented at Boot Düsseldorf and is part of the 50th anniversary celebration for the German shipyard. The 65-footer takes the style, comfort and performance that have always been part of the brand’s DNA to an even higher level. Manufacture for the first unit will begin on January 2018 with a few characteristics from past models combined with significant new features.
The vessel is the product of Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department and its Product Strategy Committee; exteriors were jointly designed by Ferretti Group and the architect Filippo Salvetti. It will come with approximately 25 m² of surfaces, a large flybridge that is the most competitive in its class, and three different layouts to choose from. A standout feature is the new electro-hydraulic steering system, also used in other Ferretti models.
The Ferretti Yachts 670 will be fitted with twin MAN engines rated at 1000 mhp, providing a cruising speed of 25 knots and a top speed of 28, offering the alternative of choosing twin MAN engines providing 1200 mhp, for a cruising speed of 28 knots and a top speed of 32 knots.
