Palumbo Superyachts sold the Columbus S 50 Meters project to a previous costumer. Luca Dini Design was in charge of interior and exterior design, customized by the owner. The vessel can accommodate 11 guests in five cabins on the three-deck layout, plus a crew of 11 in seven cabins.

The exterior is dynamic and well-balanced, while the interiors fulfill the owner’s wish to enjoy as much natural light as possible through the use of extensive glazed surfaces on all decks and particularly on either side of the main deck that provide a complete view of the sea.

Construction of the yacht will begin shortly at the shipyard in Ancona, and will be delivered in the summer of 2020. The yacht is powered by two 2000 hp MTU engines, with a top speed of 20 knots in semi-displacement mode, a cruising speed of 15 knots, and a transoceanic range.
