CdM announced the launch of the Acciaio 105, christened M/Y Gatto, set to be delivered in the summer. Hydro Tec was responsible for the exterior design as well as naval architecture, while Francesco Guida Design was in charge of the interiors.
The yacht is outfitted with two Caterpillar C18 engines of 500 kW each, with a transatlantic range of 4500nm at 10 knots, reaching a maximum speed of 13 knots, outstanding for a 32-meter. The hull, made of steel, ensures stability and allows for fewer fuel consumption.
“We have been asked to create classic-contemporary interiors with a soft and relaxing feel throughout. We have created a unique look by designing linear furniture enriched with exquisite burnished metal details while combining natural oak with white lacquered surfaces and glossy ebony details, we gave character to the ambiance. We did our best to design interiors that are cohesive to the yacht's exterior line.” - Francesco Guida, Italian designer
