Heesen announced that the hull and superstructure of Project Castor were joined together at the facility in Oss. The 55-meter yacht’s sleek exteriors were designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, while the interiors resulted from the eight collaboration between Bannenberg & Rowell and Heesen Yachts, and boasts first-class materials fine woods and natural stones.
The yacht’s fast displacement hull was designed by Van Oossanen and offers incredible stability, propelled by twin MTU 8V 4000 M63 main engines, reaching a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles at a cruise speed of 13 knots.
Project Castor is available for delivery in Spring 2020.
