Paradise’s Most Exclusive
At Las Alamandas your can enjoy endless, pristine white sand beaches surrounded by a great variety of exotic trees, flowers, wild birds and lagoons.
Conceived by Isabel Goldsmith Patiño, its owner and developer, as a luxurious hideaway of only six villas with a total of 14 rooms in which 30 guests can comfortably ensconce themselves, the hotel is located on 70 acres within a 1,500 acres private paradise lying between Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo.
Suites
High tile roofs cover each villa and shade the terraces and ceramic tile floors. Another one of its charms is that each room is decorated with vivid colors, personally chosen by the owner, as well as Mexican handicrafts and hand painted decorative pieces.
Gathered from different parts of Mexico, the furniture is a blend of designs, fabrics and colors. Each suite features an ample bathroom with hand painted Mexican tile where guests can enjoy a bath in the tub or, if they prefer, a refreshing shower. There is also a bidet, double sink and large open shelving.
The villas at the edge of the sea have their own terrace, living and dining room, fully equipped kitchen and mini-bar.
Visitors can choose between the Casa del Sol, the Casa del Domo, the Casa Azul, the Casa San Miguel, the Casa Isabel and the Casa San Antonio.
Dining
The Oasis Restaurant, surrounded by palm trees and with a view of the sea, is the place to enjoy a varied menu of delicious organic Mexican dishes or, if you prefer, savor one of its Continental specialties. All the ingredients are fresh as local fishermen bring the fish and seafood in daily and the chickens are free-range.
Most of the fruits and vegetables are grown on the property, without the use of pesticides, and the Executive Chef bakes the breads and cakes daily.
Activities
You can exercise in the fitness room, which features modern equipment like a treadmill, Stairmaster, VersaClimber and LifeCycle.
Boogie boards, croquet, ping-pong and beach volleyball are also available. If you prefer, select among a wide variety of classic and modern movies on hand in the video library or watch your favorite program in the large screen TV located in the bar.
Among the outstanding outdoor activities you can enjoy a boat ride along a jungle river, observe wild birds in the lagoons or visit the islands of birds, where you can also snorkel.
Locartion
By car, Las Alamandas is located one hour and 45 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta or an hour and 30 minutes north of the Manzanillo airport. The development has a 1,100-meter (3,609 ft) asphalt landing strip ideal for small planes, like a CESSNA.
