After several years of development, Hublot has unveiled the multicolored ceramic watch christened Magic Ceramic.
Hublot has achieved what has long been considered the holy grail of ceramics. More than a simple layering of pigments, the creation of multicolored ceramics requires innovative thinking and a deep understanding of the material and the reproduction of colors.
The result of a patent-pending process, Hublot's new Magic Ceramic debuts with the Big Bang Unico Magic Ceramic, a limited edition of just 20 pieces.
The bezel of the Big Bang Unico Magic Ceramic is made of dark gray ceramic that gives way to intense blue circles arranged in a seemingly random and organic pattern. Its heart beats with a UNICO automatic flyback chronograph movement designed, developed and manufactured in the Hublot workshops.
Its gray-toned finish matches the dominant hue of the multicolored ceramic. A black rubber strap with lines on its entire surface completes the attractive appearance of this unique piece of watchmaking, which has been elevated to the category of art.
Mathias Buttet, Director of Research and Development, explains: "After more than four years of research, we have mastered the art of combining vibrant, patented colors, a true technical feat.
