Since 1988, Louis Vuitton has come a long way to position itself among the great names in watchmaking. However, the real turning point came in 2002 with the launch of the Tambour.
Inspired by century-old designs, Louis Vuitton strengthened its presence in Haute Horlogerie with its new creation, the Tambour Convergence. This piece symbolizes the consolidation of its specialized workshops, combining tradition and modernity in every detail.
With the arrival of Jean Arnault at the head of the division in 2023, the brand took a new step with the redesign of the Tambour, transforming it into a more refined and desirable model.
Presented in 18-carat rose gold and platinum, the Tambour Convergence exudes elegance and craftsmanship. Set with 795 diamonds and a saffron-colored sapphire, this 37 mm automatic watch, with its satin-brushed hour and minute discs, combines refinement and technical innovation.
It is the result of the synergy between three of Louis Vuitton's Swiss workshops: La Fabrique du Temps for the movement, La Fabrique des Boîtiers for the case and La Fabrique des Arts for the finishes. Its transparent case-back reveals a mechanism made up of 201 parts and an oscillating weight in 18-carat rose gold, confirming the excellence of its craftsmanship.
