More than 30 million years trapped in a single sphere. An eternal moment of fossilized resin that defies the logic of time and the fragility of matter.
Arnold & Son writes a new chapter in its exploration of unusual materials with HM Steel Amber. After charoite, hematite and meteorite, amber joins their legacy, evoking the transformation, rarity and mystery of time contained in every second.
Baltic amber, with its golden tones and fiery reflections, is the absolute protagonist of the Arnold & Son HM Steel Amber, a masterpiece where watchmaking meets natural history.
Each watch in this limited edition is the result of an extraordinary find: a 1.6 kg block of amber, a rarity in itself. The house meticulously examined each fragment, discarding the most fragile and selecting only those of impeccable quality. The result is a dial that is unique to each piece, with unrepeatable veins and a palette that evolves with air and light.
The design of the HM Steel Amber exudes purity. Its unadorned and uncomplicated dial lets the amber speak for itself, framed by an ultra-thin 39.5 mm steel case. Only two hands - hours and minutes - pierce this portal of fossil and fire.
To complement its visual lightness, Arnold & Son has integrated the ultra-thin A&S1001 caliber, just 2.7 mm thick and with an exceptional autonomy of 90 hours. Every detail of the movement has been decorated by hand in the Manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, where precision and art come together in a spectacle of shining Côtes de Genève and polished corners.
