Once again, the Maison has positioned itself as the undisputed leader at the crossroads of precision watchmaking and artistic expression.
The opening day of Watches and Wonders 2025 in Geneva made it clear that Cartier continues to rise in the world of watchmaking. This year, Cartier presented an ambitious renewal of four of its emblematic lines, consolidating its position as one of the most influential houses in contemporary haute horlogerie.
Tank à Guichets: the return of a classic from 1928
As part of the limited edition Cartier Privé collection, the Maison has reissued the iconic Tank à Guichets, originally created in 1928. True to its Art Deco aesthetic, this digital display watch is now available in yellow gold, rose gold and platinum.
A fourth model, also in platinum, has been completely redesigned and features an asymmetrical arrangement of the hour-markers and a distinctive red tone for the numerals, reminiscent of the characteristic red cabochon of the Tank Louis Cartier models.
Tank Louis Cartier: evolution of a timeless silhouette
The Tank Louis Cartier collection has been extended with two new versions of this classic dress watch. Crafted in rose gold and yellow gold, these two references are fitted with semi-matte alligator leather straps, adding a contemporary touch to their traditional elegance.
The 38.1 x 27.8 mm case houses a flinqué dial with a silver-white sunray pattern, blue sword-shaped hands and a striking cabochon crown.
Panthère de Cartier: an artistic reinterpretation of jewelry
One of the most versatile pillars of the Cartier catalogue, the Panthère, has been significantly updated with four new semi-pavé versions in pink and yellow gold. In particular, a multicolored version with a 36.5 mm case in rose gold, designed by the Maison des Métiers d'Art, combines enamel, pavé diamonds and spessartites to create a vibrant geometric pattern.
The bracelet, set with 314 brilliant-cut diamonds and 86 spessartites, frames the enameled pavé dial for a bold and refined interpretation.
The Panthère de Cartier bracelet: a sculptural manifestation of watchmaking
The Panthère de Cartier bracelet is presented in two visually striking versions: one in yellow gold with tsavorite and black lacquer details, and one in white gold entirely set with diamonds. In both, the figure of the panther embraces the wrist with feline dynamism, in a design that combines jewelry tradition and contemporary language.
The white gold version features 1,103 diamonds for a total weight of 11.9 carats, confirming Cartier's technical excellence in the field of precious stones.
Tressage: a masterful integration of watchmaking and jewelry
Finally, the Tressage series proposes a sculptural approach combining elements of watchmaking and fine jewelry. The new references feature what appears to be a superimposition of two bracelets enclosing a minimalist tank watch.
Available in gem-set and yellow gold, this collection is distinguished by its perfectly executed metallic braiding, its black lacquered dial and the sobriety of its leather strap.
