In collaboration with Bamford, Girard-Perregaux has revived its 1960s Deep Diver watch, combining vintage heritage, vibrant design, and contemporary technology. This limited edition is available in 350 pieces.

Girard-Perregaux delved into its historical archives to relaunch one of its most charismatic models, the Deep Diver. This iconic piece from the late '60s and '70s returns reinterpreted in collaboration with the Bamford Watch Department.

This reissue is not a literal replica but rather a contemporary reinterpretation that balances aesthetic fidelity with technical advances.

During a time of creative effervescence in watchmaking and growing demand for sports watches, the original Deep Diver stood out with its bold, colorful design. This was in contrast to more subdued models of the time, such as the Omega Speedmaster and the Rolex Daytona.

This new edition carries on that legacy by incorporating key vintage design elements, such as the 14-sided inner bezel — a precursor to the one later used by the Laureate — and the distinctive square typography.

The new model features a polished titanium case and quick-drying rubber straps. It has an intense blue glow thanks to the application of Super-LumiNova. Inside, it houses the reliable GP03300 caliber movement.

With water resistance of up to 200 meters, the watch is a functional companion for recreational diving and everyday pool use. A discreet Bamford signature on the dial adds a distinctive touch to this collaboration.

The Deep Diver's immediate success follows the trend of interest in archival reissues, as demonstrated by the complete sale of the 1976 Casquette—another historic piece reinterpreted by Girard-Perregaux.
