For over a decade, Audemars Piguet and Serena Williams have cultivated a relationship built on enduring commitment and the shared conviction that time is not merely measured, but created.

Today, the Manufacture expands this collaboration by bringing Serena’s vision to the Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph through a dedicated limited edition. This new 38mm white ceramic timepiece is illuminated by a pink-hued mother-of-pearl dial that adds symbolic depth and striking contrast. Bold in color and precise in execution, it is powered by Calibre 6401, the brand’s latest integrated chronograph movement.

For Serena Williams, time is a testament to the value of starting anew. This mindset is reflected in how she has navigated the various chapters of her life. Her story is like a tapestry woven day by day: marking milestones, breaking barriers, and rewriting expectations with clear purpose. Across her many roles—from elite athlete to mother, entrepreneur, and social icon—Serena Williams continues to evolve with unwavering passion and commitment.

The blend of power and elegance that defines Serena is mirrored in the Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph "Serena Williams."

The case middle, bezel, crown, and integrated bracelet are crafted from white ceramic, a material renowned for its exceptional durability and uniform color. Ceramic is challenging to work with due to its extreme hardness, requiring consistency and precision throughout the manufacturing process to ensure the quality of every component. Each part is meticulously hand-finished, alternating between satin-brushed surfaces and chamfering to reveal the Royal Oak’s signature architecture. The pink mother-of-pearl dial symbolizes feminine energy, intuition, and inner strength. Creating a subtle interplay between robustness and refinement, its soft iridescence adds depth to the watch. The dial is enhanced by luminescent white gold hands and matching applied hour markers, with rhodium-plated detailing around the counters creating a two-tone aesthetic. A pink date window with white numerals, positioned between 4 and 5 o'clock, ensures clarity and legibility while maintaining visual harmony.

The interplay of textures and materials extends to the bracelet; this versatile timepiece features a pink rubber strap with white ceramic studs and a titanium AP folding clasp.

Designed with precision, ergonomics, and lasting performance in mind, Calibre 6401 upholds the Manufacture's tradition of sports watches while meeting contemporary expectations.

Unveiled earlier this year, this new-generation chronograph movement now powers the limited-edition 38 mm Royal Oak in white ceramic. Blending technical and aesthetic refinement, it replaces the renowned Calibre 2385, which drove the brand's more compact chronographs for nearly three decades. Developed entirely in-house, Calibre 6401 has recently been introduced into the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore collections.

The movement’s 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight and refined Haute Horlogerie finishes—such as *Côtes de Genève*, circular graining, polishing, and satin-brushing—are visible through the sapphire caseback, which features a titanium frame engraved with "Limited Edition."
