Six Chopard models were selected as finalists for the 2026 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), earning nominations in six different categories.

These timepieces—spanning Fine Watchmaking, High Jewellery, and mechanical Objets d’Art—reflect the richness and diversity of the Maison’s expertise, ranging from the Chopard Manufacture workshops in Fleurier to the High Jewellery atelier in Geneva.

  • L.U.C 1860 [opening photo]. In the "Time Only" category, the L.U.C 1860 commemorates the 30th anniversary of Chopard Manufacture by faithfully continuing the legacy of the first watch in the L.U.C collection. Crafted from Lucent Steel and powered by the ultra-thin Calibre L.U.C 96.40-L, it combines a small-seconds display at 6 o'clock with a traditional hand-guilloché dial in "Areuse Blue"—a hue inspired by the Areuse River, which flows near Chopard Manufacture in the Val-de-Travers region.
  • L.U.C Grand Strike. Nominated in the "Mechanical Exception" category, the L.U.C Grand Strike represents the most complex chiming watch ever created by Chopard Manufacture. Comprising 686 components, it combines grande sonnerie, petite sonnerie, and minute repeater functions, featuring unique sapphire crystal gongs.

Inspired by nature and crafted entirely within the Maison’s ateliers, this extraordinary pendant pocket watch conceals a self-winding movement with a moon-phase display inside a strikingly realistic-looking walnut, sculpted from ethical 18-carat rose gold and set with 430 carats of diamonds.
  • L’Heure du Diamant. Selected in the Gem-set category, L’Heure du Diamant highlights the inseparable dialogue between jewelry craftsmanship and watchmaking expertise that defines the collection. It features a cushion-shaped silhouette, a bezel of pear-cut diamonds using Chopard’s signature "crown setting," a striated dial, and a gold link bracelet.
