Luxury and adrenaline converge in the new Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition, a special series that combines the imposing presence of the American brand's flagship SUV with the identity of the Mexican Formula 1 driver.
Production will be limited to 11 units exclusively for Mexico, a nod to the number associated with Checo Pérez's racing career.
This commemorative edition represents the meeting of two worlds: Cadillac's refinement and the sporting passion of Checo, driver for the Cadillac Formula 1 team. The Escalade will be available in black and white exterior combinations with matching interiors, in a configuration that underscores its sophisticated and athletic character.
Under the hood beats a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, capable of delivering 682 horsepower and 653 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The driving experience is enhanced by an active valve exhaust system, six-piston Brembo front brakes, and suspension technologies such as Air Adaptive Ride and Magnetic Ride Control, which adjust the vehicle's response to road conditions.
Exclusivity is also expressed in the details. Each unit will feature numbered plaques from 1/11 to 11/11, developed by Cadillac's global design team and integrated with Checo Pérez's signature. Black Escalade and V-Series emblems, a visible carbon fiber engine cover, sport pedals, and V-Series graphic projection lights reinforce its unique character. A welcome kit completes this edition designed for collectors and high-performance enthusiasts.
Inside, the technological display matches its mechanical prowess. A 55-inch curved screen spans the dashboard, while the 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio system transforms the cabin into a first-class entertainment space. Second-row passengers enjoy 12.6-inch HD screens and, in the V-Sport configuration, executive seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
With seating for seven and a length of 5.38 meters, the Escalade-V demonstrates that sportiness can coexist with the comfort and functionality of a full-size SUV.
“Mexico has always been with me in every race,” commented Checo Pérez during the presentation, highlighting his participation in the design and unveiling of the model.
