Garage Italia, a creative hub specializing in bespoke design, has once again reinterpreted the Spiaggina model. Through a collaboration with the award-winning international yacht design studio Hot Lab (part of Viken Group), the vehicle has been transformed into an object that connects with a new realm of design. The result is a Spiaggina—a beach-style Fiat 500—conceived not merely as a car, but as an extension of a yacht's aesthetic language.

The collaboration between Garage Italia and Hot Lab stems from the meeting of two seemingly distant worlds, united by a shared design vision: using customization to forge identity and prioritizing attention to detail as a fundamental element of the project.

Garage Italia reinterprets an automotive icon using unique materials and craftsmanship, while Hot Lab applies a design approach rooted in the integration of form, function, and design coherence. This dialogue gave rise to a Spiaggina configuration specifically developed to serve as a leisure-oriented nautical accessory within the studio's yacht projects.

The new configuration’s nautical character stems primarily from its styling, which introduces a precise visual division of the bodywork: the car is conceptually "split along the waterline," creating a direct reference to the separation between a hull and the sea's surface.

A distinctive feature of the new configuration is the wooden "Heritage" tunnel, inspired by classic speedboats. Beyond evoking Italian nautical tradition, the tunnel serves a practical purpose: the rear section includes magazine racks and can optionally be fitted with a bottle holder featuring leather straps and a metal base.
