Land Rover teamed up with Zenith, Swiss watch manufacturer, to create a new piece: the Zenith El Primero Range Rover Special Edition.

This exclusive watch celebrates the year of 1969, in which Zenith released the first version of the symbolic chronograph El Primero, and Land Rover launched the Range Rover, their first luxury 4x4 model.

However, the history between both brands not only coincides in their respective releases in 1969: three years later, in 1972, explorer John Blashford-Snell crossed the Darién gap in one of the first Range Rover models, wearing a Zenith El Primero watch around his wrist.

Zenith’s El Primero Range Rover Special Edition comes in a 42 mm black matte ceramic box, and a perforated rubber strap covered in leather. It comes in ivory or navy, in tune with the interiors of the Range Rover.
