Corum, the Swiss watchmaker, is releasing this year a special edition for their Coin Watch collection. The first watch, created in 1964, is a representation of the $20 American coin, and since 2011 Corum selects some of the most distinctive emblems for their limited editions to preserve them in their watches as symbols of historical heritage.
This year, Corum has selected the 32 Mexican states to be featured in the Coin Watch collection. Each piece comes with an 18k gold 43mm case and a gold bezel incrusted with diamonds, a black leather strap and the Mexico map silhouette carved on the back of the case. The Mexican symbol of the open-winged eagle perched on a cactus eating a snake is represented on the dial.
