The German automaker Mercedes Benz presented the new Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury at Auto China 2018 in Beijing. The design, a sophisticated combination of crossover and SUV that follows the philosophy of Sensual Purity, is spacious and focused on comfort. The interiors are finished with the finest materials and significantly higher, SUV-typical seating position, hence providing a sublime driving experience. The exterior boasts smooth surfaces with no sharp edges, introducing the new grille design, which dominates the front view.

The Vision Mercedes-Maybach is an electric vehicle with four compact permanent-magnet synchronous motors. The output from the powertrain is 550 kW (750 hp). The battery has a usable capacity of around 80 kWh, producing an NEDC range of over 500 kilometers (according to EPA: over 200 miles). The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
