Chopard’s Alpine Eagle collection is extended with the addition of a chronograph with a flyback function inside a 44 mm diameter case.
Under the name Alpine Eagle XL Chrono, the new model is available in three different versions, each inspired by the strength of the eagle and the beauty of the Alps; manufactured entirely in Chopard’s watchmaking workshops, they are clear craft the pays homage to nature.
It has an autonomy of 60 hours of power reserve and other technical innovations that have earned the watchmaker the registration of four patents. Firstly, it is equipped with a unidirectional gear system that prevents energy loss while ensuring rapid charging.
In addition, its vertical clutch system guarantees precise timing. On the other hand, being of the flyback type, it allows the timing of short flight times, thanks to three pivoting hammers that facilitate the resetting of the counters.
Finally, the built-in Variner flywheel provides a stable gear to the movement, compensating for variations in inertia throughout the time the watch is in use.
