The Alpine Eagle collection reinterprets with modernity the St. Moritz watch, the first watchmaking creation carried out by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele in the late 1970s.
Chopard combines precision, style and sportiness with the Alpine Eagle Cadence 8HF, produced as a limited edition of 250 pieces housing one of the most advanced movements from the watchmaker’s workshops.
Since its launch in 2019, the Alpine Eagle collection marked a milestone. Today it completes with the Cadence HF, a watch with a 41 mm-diameter, a thickness of 9.75 mm, lightweight and at the same time resistant. It beats at a frequency twice as fast as a standard automatic movement.
At the same time, it offers a comfortable and practical power reserve of 60 hours and the ‘Chronometer’ certificate, awarded by the Swiss Official Chronometry Control (COSC).
Although this model has big differences between a Lucent Steel A223 Alpine Eagle Large, it still has design codes that are always present among the Alpine Eagle, for example: the satin bezel and the large links of the strap; its centerpiece is polished, as well as the chamfers of the case and eight screws.
The dial of the Cadence 8HF is marked by so-called eagle iris motif, a direct tribute to these birds of prey that have inspired the collection.
