Chopard launched the third edition of the L.U.C. Skull One series, a collection of watches inspired by the Day of the Dead.
Thinking in the Mexican tradition, the L.U.C. Skull One Calavera Pop Art is a colorful piece, limited to only 25 pieces. Made entirely of blackened stainless steel, it works thanks to a mechanical movement made by hand.
Its dial features a pop art-inspired Mexican skull, symbol of the annual celebration, which casts bright flashes of color in the center of a 40 mm case.
The watch is powered by the L.U.C. 96.53-L movement, an automatic caliber hand-crafted in Chopard's workshops.
The shades that characterize the dial are blue, red, orange, green and yellow. The kitsch aspect of the motifs of the Day of the Dead tradition is even found in the L.U.C. Chopard logo inserted in the mustache.
The watch comes with a black leather strap with green lining and red and green stitching, the colors of the Mexican flag. The steel buckle has also been treated with black DLC.
