The Maison Bulgari launched the Octo Finissimo Automatic CarbonGold and the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar CarbonGold, watchmaking jewels in carbon with an ultra-thin mechanical manufacture movement, automatic winding, carbon dial, hands and indexes in pink gold.

Both models are a distinctive fusion of Made in Italy design and Swiss watchmaking expertise, combining an ultra-thin Bulgari mechanical movement with a bold contemporary aesthetic. The case, bracelet and dial are made of anthracite-colored carbon, resulting in an extremely light watch with a matte finish, while the hour markers and crown in luminous rose gold provide an elegant contrast to this high-tech backdrop.

The roundness of the bezels contrasts with the octagonal structures of the dials, whose lightness derives from the Bulgari design, winner of eight consecutive awards in the ultra-thin watch category.

Following in the footsteps of the first Octo Finissimo Manual Tourbillon launched by Bulgari in 2014, which set the standard for ultra-thin watches, the ultra-thin mechanical movement of the models presented offers automatic winding, gold bridges and an off-center micro-rotor made of gold-plated platinum.

In the Octo Finissimo Automatic, the hands indicate the hours and minutes, as well as a small seconds hand, while in the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar, the days are indicated by two gold hands and the months by an elegant gold hand.

The chronometer duo is the heir to Bulgari's history with the thinnest automatic watches on the market, initiated by the company in 2017.

The Octo Finissimo Automatic is powered by the BLV 138 caliber (2.23 mm thick), and the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar is powered by the 2.77 mm BVL 305 movement. Both have a power reserve of 60 hours.

The spectacular and ultra-thin octagonal cases are 40 mm thick, with a difference in thickness (6.90 mm for the Octo Finissimo Automatic versus 7.60 mm for the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar), made of carbon with a transparent case-back and adorned with a polished 18-carat rose gold crown with black ceramic inserts.

The carbon dial is unique and unrepeatable thanks to the original veins that seem to have been created by a painter. The bracelets are also in carbon with a triple-folding clasp and are water-resistant to 100 meters.
