The flagship store offers the Italian house's full range of products, including its latest fragrance and jewelry collections, in an open space.
Bottega Veneta is expanding its retail presence in the United States with the opening of a two-story boutique on East Oak Street in Chicago. With a 10-meter-high facade of glass, brass and stone, the store offers unobstructed views of the street from both floors.
Inside, the design embraces Bottega Veneta's heritage through a curated palette of Italian materials: cement tiles line the floors and walls, while green Verde Saint-Denis marble characterizes the display cases and furniture.
In this new location, Bottega Veneta presents its new pre-spring collection, including new versions of the Andiamo family and the launch of Ciao Ciao, a bag with a flexible silhouette and hidden hook closure that allows for versatile styling. Its playful name, which means both hello and goodbye in Italian, captures the house's spirit of movement and travel.
In addition to the product offering, the harmonious ambiance of the interior references the minimalist aesthetic of Italian modernism, highlighting the natural textures and tones of marble and wood.
The space is designed to enhance the shopping experience with a luminous atmosphere. A sculptural wrap-around walnut staircase leads to an upper level lounge with skylights and landscaping.
