The exhibition Hermès Open House will be in Mexico City from 3 to 12 June 2016. Through this traveling event, Hermès artisans leave the privacy of their workshops for a single encounter with the public.

As location in Mexico City it has been established the Water mirror of the Lincoln Park at Polanco suburb, and on the occasion of this meeting, the Hermès boutique located in El Palacio de Hierro Polanco will present storefronts specially created by the Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrav, who through trompe l' oeil effects and the use of colors and paper, are depicting scenes of the daily workshops of saddlery, leather goods and silk Hermès in France.

The visitors to this exhibition will witness how the famous Hermès silk scarf are printed and how it’s born each bag, saddle and other iconic objects of the Maison. Hermès entry Open House is free and will be open to the public during the above dates from 11:00 to 18:00 hrs, except on Monday June 6.
