For Fall/Winter 2022, Kim Jones refracts two iconic FENDI collections through a distinctly contemporary lens, yet in a new light.

Combining and reworking the geometric prints and styling of 1986 with the lightness of 2000, the result is an exploration between strength and softness: a catwalk of powerful women.

"It's a closet designed for every aspect of a woman's life, for every generation," opines Kim Jones, designer in charge of FENDI's women's collections.”

The new balance is found in delicate lingerie dresses paired with long cashmere gloves, corseted shirts, and men's tailoring abbreviated into short jackets.

Likewise, the printed O'Lock, first seen as part of the men's A/W 2022 collection, carries over into women's fashion with an ethereal lightness.

"There are no barriers or divisions at FENDI," Silvia Venturini Fendi points out. "What interests me most about fashion is when it's not something momentary, and with FENDI, that's always the case, because it's never banal. There's always a story behind each piece, something a little different," she comments.

In the accessories designed by Silvia, the Maison's dedication to craftsmanship is expressed through the new chapters of the hand in hand project, along with the leather iterations of FENDI First and the oversized shopper bag.

To celebrate Baguette's 25th anniversary, three previous editions are revived: in cashmere, in sheepskin-lined leather, and in intarsia.

In the jewelry designed by Delfina Deletrez, baguette diamonds were inlaid in the bracelets to allude to the FF logo.
