Hélène Darroze French chef, was recognized as the best female chef in the world with the award Veuve Clicquot given each year by the organization of The World's 50 Best, the list of the best restaurants in the world.

Hélène Darroze has received other awards, including admission to the French Legion of Honor as Chevalier by President Nicolas Sarkozy, in 2012. The French Cook (1967), originally from the Landes region, is the fourth generation of a family of cooks.

According to the jury of Veuve Clicquot Award for Best Female Chef of the World 2015, consisting of more than 900 food writers and chefs, rated "not only impeccable culinary expertise, but also the use of genuine seasonal ingredients, which are the protagonists of his contemporary French recipes".
