A new restaurant at the iconic George V hotel in Paris has opened its doors since mid-October.

Under the tutelage of Marco Garfagnini, Le George will take a lighter, more modern look at traditional Mediterranean cuisine, with plenty of fish and vegetable dishes. The restaurant plans to focus on “healthy” cuisine, with a focus on fresh and light foods, to create a mix of northern Italian and southern French specialities.

The innovative restaurant will round out the gastronomic offerings at the Four Seasons Hotel George V, which first opened its doors in 1928.

The luxury hotel already counts Le Cinq, run by chef Christian Le Squer and offering classic French dishes, and La Galerie’s elegant lunch and dinner spot.

Le George restaurant in Paris, currently  offers light and modern Mediterranean-style cuisine designed for sharing, with many dishes available in half portions, and a balanced cuisine bursting with flavour and freshness. Elegant gourmet fare is perfect for special moments. The convivial, gastronomic experience takes guests on a journey between the French Riviera and northern Italy.
