Each year, the Claridge’s hotel in Mayfair, London creates one of the most mesmerising Christmas trees in the world, this has turned into a tradition of public interest that attracts several onlookers from every corner of the globe. This 2015, the design of the tree is in charge of the British Christopher Bailey, who is the creative director and CEO of Burberry.
The tree will count with nearly 100 umbrellas with golden finishes and metallic silver fabrics, meanwhile, it’s intelligent lights will turn one according to who walks by it or who is looking.
“Christmas is one of my favourite seasons, I am very please of being considered to design the Claridge’s Christmas tree, the emblematic hotel will be celebrating pure joy during this time. We wanted the tree to reflect a little bit of the ambiance of England too. We also love the idea of the tree coming to life when guests pass by it, portraying magic to their stay.” declared Christopher Bailey.
