he Class J24 Pre-World Championship was
held just one nautical mile from the
grandiose Bay of Acapulco and with it the
final of the first eliminating round for the selection
of the Mexican yachts that will represent our coun-
try in the World Championship to be held in
Acapulco in March 2007, as well as the Mexican
Team in the Central American and Caribbean Games.
The competition was of a high standard in diffi-
cult and demanding conditions and consisted of

una milla náutica de la grandiosa Bahía de
Acapulco se celebró el Campeonato Premundial
de la Clase J24. Con ello ocurrió el final de la pri-
mera eliminatoria para la selección de las embarcacio-
nes mexicanas que representarán a nuestro país en el
Campeonato Mundial a celebrarse en Acapulco en marzo
del 2007, así como a la selección mexicana en los Juegos
Centroamericanos y del Caribe.
La competencia fue de alto nivel y las condiciones
difíciles y exigentes se completaron con siete regatas
