Open. In total, the province of Malaga has 42 golf
courses, of which the most outstanding are the
Real Club de Golf La Brisa, the oldest having opened
in 1969 and the Dama de Noche (nine holes, 36 par
and coastal), which is the only nighttime golf
course in Europe.
A love at first sight is the Golf Río Real, in the
port of Marbella, which is hidden on the bank of an
old river, between hills and faces out to sea. It has
18 holes, a par of 72, is the most pleasant and was
designed by Javier Arena. It has all the services you
would expect: buggies, golf trolleys, equipment
rental, a pro-shop, the golf school, a restaurant,
swimming pool and the beach. Playing on this
course is a true pleasure, among semi-tropical
vegetation, under the shade of the large trees and
admiring the lake or the sea.

Atalaya (18 holes, par 72, coastal), Marbella Golf
and Country Club (18 holes, par 71, mountains),
Miraflores del Golf (18 holes, par 71, residential),
Santana Golf and Country Club (18 holes, par 72,
coastal) and Anoreta Golf (18 holes, par 72, coastal).
The Costa del Sol is one of the great destina-
tions to play golf, immersed in wonderful scenery
and with Marbella as its capital.

Dama de Noche (9 hoyos, par 36, costero), el único
campo de golf nocturno de Europa.
Un amor a primera vista es el Golf Río Real, en
la puerta de Marbella, que se esconde en la ribera
de un antiguo río, entre colinas, y hasta el mar. Su
recorrido de 18 hoyos, con par 72, es de lo más
agradable, y fue diseñado por Javier Arena.
Cuenta con todos los servicios de buggy, golf tro-
lley, renta de equipos, tienda, escuela, restauran-
te, piscina y playa. Es un verdadero placer jugar en
ese campo, entre una vegetación semitropical, a
la sombra de los grandes árboles y admirando el
lago o el mar.
