ble a casi todo y en el fondo encierra una verdad
muy sencilla: todo aquello que no se adapta a
los cambios que le exige su época, lentamente cae en
la obsolescencia y a la larga en el olvido. En el mundo
de los yates pasa lo mismo: hoy, estas embarcaciones
no sólo deben ser enormes y lujosas, también se les
pide satisfacer otras necesidades como el tener en
buen diseño y alcanzar un alto rendimiento, además
tienen que incorporar de la mejor manera los avances
tecnológicos disponibles. Con ello en mente, Overma-
rine desarrolló el Mangusta 165 Open, el yate abierto
más grande del mundo.
En una primera impresión, vista de lejos, esta em-
barcación de 50 metros de largo luce elegante e im-
ponente. De cerca la delicadeza de sus líneas invita a
quitarse las gafas y admirar los rayos del sol refleján-
dose en sus ventanas negras. El casco de color blanco
está adornado con cristales rectangulares y las curvas
de su diseño le dan un toque deportivo y robusto.
En la proa hay un jacuzzi, una mesa y almohadillas
para tomar el sol, a pesar de que están al aire libre se
siente como un espacio adecuado para charlar en la
compañía de las amistades más íntimas. Pero si lo que
se necesita es un lugar personal para la relajación, al
otro extremo, en la popa, hay una terraza para disfru-
tar de la calidez del astro rey y un coctel frío.
En el interior de la misma cubierta, hay un salón
con una barra, mesas y sillones dispuestos para con-
vivir con los invitados al ritmo de música o catar con

Overmarine developed the 165 Mangusta Open,
the largest open yacht in the world.
At first glance, seen from afar, this 50 meters
long boat looks elegant and imposing, and then
seen to close the delicacy of their lines invites to
take off the sunglasses and admire the sun’s rays
reflecting in their black windows. The white hull is
adorned with rectangular crystals and their curves
give a sporty and rugged appearance.
In the bow there is a Jacuzzi, a table and sun-
bathing cushions, and though they are outdoors, it
feels like a proper space to chat in the company of

laxation what is needed, at stern there is a terrace
destined to enjoy the warmth of the sun king and
a cold cocktail.
