• Antes de viajar decide qué tipo de turismo quieres rea-
lizar, en Italia hay todo tipo de rutas: desde las arqueo-
lógicas, hasta las artísticas, culturales o las de diseño.
• En Milán (situada en la Lombardía) te recomendamos
que visites las ruinas de la antigua ciudad romana
(Mediolanum) que se encuentra entre las grandes
construcciones renacentistas y contemporáneas. Los
edificios milaneses más representativos datan del
Renacimiento como el Castello Sforzesco y el Parco
Sempione por lo cual en poco tiempo podrás viajar por
las diversas etapas arquitectónicas de la ciudad.
• No puedes dejar de visitar la Plaza Duomo donde en-
contrarás la Galería Vittorio Emanuele II y las tiendas
de diseñadores famosos tanto de Italia como de otras
partes del mundo, y podrás conocer las novedades an-
tes que en otros centros de diseño.
• Tanto el Palacio Real como la Pinacoteca Ambrosiana
y la Pinacoteca de Brea son paradas obligadas en tu
visita, así como sus múltiples iglesias y el Teatro de la
Escala, al cual debes asistir casi obligadamente para
disfrutar de algo del mejor repertorio operístico.
• Tambiénpuedes incursionar elmercadode anticuarios
dei Navigli, o asistir a las fiestas de San Ambrosio (pa-
trono de la ciudad) el 7 de diciembre de cada año.
• Te sugerimos que te adentres a la provincia y conoz-
cas el municipio de Abbiategrasso, con su desfile Palio
de San Pietro.
• Otra opción son las termas de San Colombano al Lam-
bro donde podrás sumergirte en aguas sulfurosas que
te vigorizarán y prolongarán tu juventud.

or attend the feast of St. Ambrose (patron of the
city), on December 7, each year.
• We suggest that you visit the province and the
municipality of Abbiategrasso, and its parade
Palio of San Pietro.
• Another option are the Baths of San Colombano al
Lambro, where you can immerse yourself in sulfur
water to energize you and prolong your youth.
