Igual de romántico fue el lugar de elección de la pare-
ja para iniciar su vida matrimonial. Nanyuki, a las faldas
del Monte Kenia. El delicioso paraje no estaba a la venta,

que su sueño no pudo ser concluido. Gabriel murió en
un viaje a Europa. Ella, desconsolada, tomo la decisión
de trasladar sus cenizas a Francia. Mawingo significa
“nubes” en swahili, y debajo de estas, a las faldas del
Monte Kenia se inicio la construcción de la mansión.
El Monte Kenia, es la cima sagrada de un volcán ex-
tinto desde hace tiempo ha logrado atraer a personas
de todas partes del globo. Situado en las faldas de esta
espectacular montaña dotadas con una flora y fauna ex-
cepcionales, contiene una historia tan rica y evocadora
como el paisaje que lo rodea.
Desde aquí nos ofrece una visión envidiable de
África y una privilegiada ubicación junto al parque nacio-
nal del Monte Kenia patrimonio mundial de la UNESCO
desde 1985. También se localiza cerca del parque nacio-
nal de Aberdare, que nos garantizaba una experiencia de
safari africano inolvidable.
La habitación con chimenea a leña, el baño adjunto
