which combines the delight of listening to the
sled slide on the fresh snow that has fallen in the
forest with intense physical exercise. The
Scandinave will be the well-earned place to enjoy
a rest: it is a beautiful Spa with warm outdoor
baths in the forest which are followed by immer-
sions in the cold waters of a waterfall or in the
Rouge River, where ice flows glide by.
A snowmobile journey to discover the stun-
ning forests will lead us to the frozen lakes,
where we can play with the speed of the snow-
mobiles. The walking tours on snowshoes
through the forest took us to hidden nooks and
crannies inhabited by deer, squirrels and wood-
peckers. The cross-country ski tours are a plea-
sant sport. Without rest, they demand a lot of the
body but it is a wonderful way to enjoy the silen-
ce of nature. The perfect finish to these activities
is partaking of the exquisite buffet at the anima-
ted Grand Lodge.
We can also rest while fishing in the frozen
lake, sheltered in a small wood cabin, or skating
on lakes where the ice has been prepared.
Exploring the charming towns blanketed in
snow or taking a ride on a sleigh drawn by hor-
ses, we can enjoy the simple, marvelous life in
these mountains, a place where the sun is reflec-
ted in the snow. Mont Tremblant is a marvelous
perros, un excelente deporte que combina el goce
de escuchar deslizarse el trineo sobre la nieve fres-
ca en el bosque con un ejercicio físico intenso. El
Scandinave será el descanso bien merecido, un
hermoso spa con baños calientes al aire libre, den-
tro del bosque, seguidos por inmersiones en las
aguas frías de una cascada o en el río Rouge, donde
flotan los témpanos. Es una fantástica experiencia
que se acompaña de un buen masaje.
Una excursión en moto de nieve para descubrir
los hermosos bosques nos lleva a los lagos conge-
lados, donde podemos jugar con la velocidad de las
motos. Los recorridos en raquetas, caminando por
los bosques, nos llevan hacia rincones escondidos
en los que habitan venados, ardillas o pájaros car-
pinteros. Las excursiones en cross country ski son
un agradable deporte que pide mucho al cuerpo,
sin descanso, mientras se disfruta del silencio de la
naturaleza, y al terminar éstas las noches se ani-
man en el Grand Lodge con su exquisito buffet.
También podemos descansar pescando sobre
el lago congelado, albergado en una pequeña caba-
ña de madera, o patinar sobre lagos donde el hielo
ha sido preparado. Recorriendo los encantadores
pueblos nevados o disfrutando de un paseo en el
gran trineo jalado por caballos gozaremos de la
vida sencilla y maravillosa de esas montañas
donde el sol se refleja en la nieve.
