or Mexico we realized a specific research amongst specialists and
designers, aswell as a back check against the informationofmedia
and specialized companies such as Golf Adviser, Gold Digest and
Top 100 Golf Courses UK. The best golf courses ofMexico.
It is important to point out the names occupied by the 4th and 7th
place of this list; two of these courses are locatedwithin the Four Seasons
Resort Punta Mita in Nayarit. Despite being created by the same designer
(JackNicklaus), theyareverydifferent fromone another. Not onlybecause
they represent a different challenge, but also because their inauguration
is one decade apart (1999-2000). The Pacifico Golfcourse is steady but has
agreat level of difficulty, it also holds a three extra hole (hole 3B) which is
knownas “Tail of thewhale”; it is theonlyGreen intheworldwithanatural
island. On the other hand, the Bahia golfcourse has ondulation in Greens
and fairways; six of it’s 18 holes have view of the sea. Meanwhile, Bosque
Real Golf Course has 9 additional holes designed by JackNicklaus.

ñadores, así como un cruce de información entre medios y empresas
especializadas como Golf Adviser, Gold Digest y Top 100 Golf Courses
UK, quedando los siguientes campos como los mejores de México.
En este contexto, cabe señalar que los sitios 4 y 7 de la lista los ocupan dos
campos que pertenecen al Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, en Nayarit. Si bien
ambos fueron concebidos por el mismo diseñador (Jack Nicklaus), son diferen-
tes entre sí, no solo porque existe una década de diferencia entre la inaugura-
ción de uno y otro (1999-2009), sino porque representan un desafío diferente.
El CampodeGolf Pacífico es plano, pero conun altogradodedificultad, además
de ofrecer un hoyo tres extra (hoyo 3B), conocido como Tail of the Whale; el
único green del mundo en una isla natural. Por su parte, el Campo de Golf Bahía
presenta ondulaciones en greens y fairways, y seis de sus 18 hoyos tienen vis-
ta almar. Asimismo, el ClubdeGolf Bosque Real cuenta con9hoyos adicionales
diseñados por Jack Nicklauss.
