Italian builder Castoldi has revealed its latest concept for the 10 metre Jet Tender 33 Convertible.

Billed by the company as a two-in-one boat offering the best aspects of both a sports and limousine tender, the vessel combines safety and manoeuvrability with speeds of up to 50 knots meaning it could easilyAs the name suggests, the Jet Tender 33 Convertible features a retractable water-tight soft-top roof which, when open, allows passengers to enjoy open-air sightseeing and navigation while reduced height allows for easy onboard storage. This combined with the boat’s speed also makes it the perfect vessel for water sports and escorting passengers to dive sites.

When the roof is closed a climate controlled area with a generous head height of 2.27 metres is the ideal sanctuary for passengers in less ideal weather conditions. As the video shows, the boat’s interior features a full beam living space with a relaxed circular seating area while sunpads are situated both aft and forward. Easy access for passengers is made possible from the sides, stern and bow via a hydraulically actuated landing stepped ramp.

The Jet Tender 33 Convertible is built in Kevlar with a rigid superstructure and is powered by two 440 HP diesel engines backed up by two Castoldi waterjet drives. The boat is controlled using Castoldi’s ACES electronic control system with optional joystick piloting for docking.
